On the 20th of November 2012 me and my University class took a trip to Nottingham to view a new exhibiton at the contempory gallery. The gallery exhibition was based on Haitian voodouism. Surprisingly to me alot of the work was very bright and colourful, even the paintings about death and sacrafice were still filled with colour. After we had viewed the gallery we were given the chance to explore the city. We decicded to go to the lace market which had a few vintagestores which i found quite interesting. Afterwards we went to the Nottingham trent University which had a small exhibition about the lace industry, it was interesting to see how different people had interpreted lace in there work.
